This house is down the street from my dads. I lived on that street for 13 years, and I have never seen anyone go into or come out of this house. It was last year that i noticed the 'balcony' upstairs was crooked, and the shed in the backyard was full of old toys and games. This house just looked so sad, when it was so beautiful, for so so long.
wow. You lived there for 13 years, and nobody came out or went in? that's exactly the kind of thing i want to experience..
where I live, we don't have that kind of houses here..
I don't know why, but the number really fits the house..

maybe because it's the number on the arch in the center of the photo jk. Anyway, according to my dad, who talked to the real estate developer (the community wants it torn down), it was a boarding house from the 1950's until about the late 1980's, and someone still holds the deed to it, so they can't tear it down. It's such a shame, if I had a pic of the full house, you'd see it in it's grandure, such a remarkable architectural wonder. Or, better yet, if the person holding the deed would just hand it over to someone who will not let it go to waste, then it could be remodled and regain it's retro glamour. Oh, I could only imagine the romance and the memories that took place in that house!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
